Digital Sketchbook – Sprite Sheet


For the player i went with a simple stick figure, the idle animation is the player kicking a rock, with a six frame running animation and then a three frame jumping animation which attempts to show a build up with the first frame.

Following this shows a five frame explosion that expands rapidly before fading just as fast. The ranged projectile following is a mix of an armour penetrator like that fired from a tank and an arrow.

Following this is a rotating / floating coin based on the ones from mario. Next is the first of two dangers, the first of which is a falling stalactite that would drop from the roof. Next is a spike wall that could be rotated and placed on the floor.

Following this is a potion that would be used as healing or a power up. Finally are two enemies, the first of which is a bird that has a three frame flying animation with its wings flapping and an attack it does by extending its neck. Lastly is a lightning cloud that would float along and has three frame attack where it discharges its lightning.
